A few years ago, a girl and a boy boarded a plane. What started as a normal nerve-racking business flight for the girl soon became the moment she would meet a boy that would change everything.
Eric was at a gathering of friends a couple years after he met Meghan. He saw her across the room, walked up to her, and said “you’re the girl from the plane.”
It turns out Eric and Meghan worked at the same firm. Every now and then Meghan would travel for business and Eric would wait for her at the gate of that same airport with sunflowers in hand….
until the day he met her there with something a little different.
He had sold his motorcycle for a ring and the rest is history….
And then came the wedding day.
Jan Alleman, the mother of the bride, after hearing that her little girl knew the perfect place to get married was in their favorite getaway, Estes Park, began over a year planning and creating Meghan’s Colorado dream wedding.
This wedding is all about detail! This was the most amazing mixture of DIY meets the most elegant of venues and vendors. The little thoughtful details you’re about to see have Jan’s name written all over them.
Notice the sunflowers…the mountains…the church!…the candy..and the smiles
it’s what this boy and girl dreamed of
I can’t begin to write this post without thanking some very important and gracious people.
Gabby was the only reason I had the opportunity to be a part of this wedding. Gabby, thank you for bringing me along for the journey. It was a joy to travel with you and bounce ideas off of you. You were wonderful to work with. Thank you!
To Jan, Don, and all the Alleman family…you transformed business into pleasure for me. Thank you for giving me the pure joy of being a part of your favorite place to vacation, your 4th of July celebrations, and your dear daughter’s big day. I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it.
to all…thanks for stopping by
